Deven May is headed to Las Vegas to play bad boy Four Season Tommy DeVito in Jersey Boys, which recently marked six months of performances at the Palazzo Resort-Hotel-Casino. May will join the Vegas company of the hit musical on December 1, replacing Erik Bates, who will return to the Jersey Boys national tour.
May joins Erich Bergen Bob Gaudio, Rick Faugno Frankie Valli and Jeff Leibow Nick Massi in performing the show in DeVito’s hometown. Jersey Boys is being presented in a custom-built theater at the Palazzo, a 50-story, 3,000-room resort hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.
May played Tommy DeVito on the first national tour of Jersey Boys and has been seen on stage in A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde and in the title role of Laurence O’Keefe’s musical Bat Boy.
